The Virginia Youth Soccer Association Teams Up with Major League Soccer Club D.C. United
Over 125,000 Youth Players Receive Access to a Complimentary Ticket to D.C. United Home Match in 2023
FREDERICKSBURG, Virginia (Feb. 17, 2022) – The Virginia Youth Soccer Association (VYSA) announced a new partnership with Major League Soccer club, D.C .United, to further connect the soccer- playing youth in Virginia and the District of Columbia with local soccer heroes. The partnership includes a ticket program that allows all registered VYSA players to receive a ticket to any regular season D.C. United match for the 2023 season with the purchase of a companion ticket.
“VYSA looks forward to this valuable partnership with D.C. United. The partnership will provide an opportunity for more VYSA registered players and their families to attend MLS matches. VYSA is pleased that this partnership will help create more smiles on young players faces, as they watch their heroes play, and further support the growth of the sport in Virginia and the District of Columbia,” said Don Rawson, VYSA Executive Director.

In addition to the ticketing relationship, D.C. United and the Virginia Youth Soccer Association will jointly partner on various 2023 state events including State Cup, Virginia President’s Cup, and the VYSA Skills Challenge Initiative.
