Program Overview

US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup
Virginia State Championship for Presidents Cup
Spring 2023

Age groups playing in the Spring are boys and girls born--

2011 (12U), 2010 (13U) and 2009 (14U)

Games will begin on April 15 and play will continue through the second week of May.

Roster Freeze Date— Rosters will be frozen for all teams on April 12, 2023 at midnight.

Semifinals hosted May 13,2023 and the finals hosted on May 14, 2023.

RULES OF THE COMPETITION

The Virginia Presidents Cup Policies and the National Presidents Cup Series Policies can be viewed here. It is the responsibility of the team to access these rules and become familiar with them. All competing teams are expected to be aware of the official Presidents Cup rules when applying for competition.

COMMUNICATION

To keep all teams up to date on game schedules, results, and sometimes changes to fields and times, it is important for each team to provide a primary contact and an email address. During the competition, the administrative information will be distributed by email. The game schedules and game results will be available here, on 'The Presidents Cup' page at vysa.com.

Directions on How to Print Official Game Day Roster:
1. Log into virginia.sportsaffinity.com
2. Follow printing directions [Download]

Venue and Field Directions:
1. Click on your Age Group Bracket Schedule.
2. Click on "Bracket" view to show a list of all games.
3. Find your game and click on the name of the "Venue" (Ex: "Morven Park" or "HRSC"). This will display venue information and physical street address
4. Just below the street address there is a choice to "View Map". Click on "Google Map", a new browser window should open and take you to a Google Map of the location you selected.

Important Communication Note:
All emails are sent through the Affinity email system and may go into your spam folder. As the tournament begins, please check your spam folder regularly so that you do not miss important information. Each email sent by the Virginia President's Cup Director, through the Affinity system, is vital to the coordination of a successful competition.

Refund Policy

Partial Cancellation:
If the event is cancelled in part, the Tournament Committee reserves the right to refund teams that have not yet kicked off or give credit towards future events. Any potential refunds will be determined at the conclusion of the event.

Complete Cancellation:
Should VYSA need to cancel the event in its entirety due to unforeseen circumstances or causes beyond our control, participants will be notified as soon as possible and refunds will be determined by the Cup Committee after all tournament expenses have been paid.
