The mission and goals of the D-ODP are to provide players an additional high level of training and development. There will be a heavy emphasis placed on skill work, individual technical enhancement, and flair with the ball. We believe the foundation of the game lies in the execution and mastery of the ball. There is no tactic, nor system of play that cover up the inability to control or pass a ball effectively.
VYSA's training programs consists of the following number of training sessions: District (10), Winter (8), and Spring (10). Winter Training is only offered in our North District and Spring Training is only offered in our North and West Central Districts.
Players are expected to show up to training on time and be properly prepared to train to include their dress, equipment, water, and character. Players are expected to communicate and discuss any difficulties they have with their D-ODP coach. Once you commit to the program, it is expressly understood by all players and their parents/guardians they are responsible for all fees associated with the program. No refunds will be given once committed to the program and fees have been paid. Failure to remit payment for any fees associated with the program can result in your player's suspension from their home club.
