This is your TOPSoccer Corner where Virginia and DC clubs and leagues exchange TOPSoccer ideas, provide information, and answer each other's questions.
 Wherever soccer programs for athletes with disabilities have been implemented, they have proven to be one of the most popular physical activities for these athletes -- these kids LOVE soccer! And coaching them is one of the most satisfying experiences a soccer coach can have.
IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A PROGRAM, share your experiences with fellow clubs. In addition to a description of what you're doing, folks will be especially interested in how you got started and what problems you faced. Send me an email or letter , and we'll let others know what you're doing.
We also need to get an information exchange going -- we can all benefit by sharing each other's experience. So check out the following pages -- and if your questions aren't answered, send us a note -- we'll get the answer. 
VYSA to Host TOPSoccer Festival
A festival for TOPSoccer players will be held at Annandale High School on February 23, 2008 from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. TOPSoccer is a program for players with disabilities and this festival has been such an overwhelming success in the past, we look forward to hosting it again. VYSA TOPSoccer: An Overview

TOPSoccer is “The Outreach Program” under the auspices of United States Youth Soccer (USYS) and its 55 affiliated state soccer associations. TOPSoccer is designed to enrich the lives of children with mental and/or physical disabilities through the game of soccer. The Virginia Youth Soccer Association (an affiliate of USYS) is an active participant in this important and rewarding endeavor.
