VYSA Convention Begins Tonight! February 3, 4 in Richmond
The VYSA annual Convention and Awards Presentations at the Richmond Marriott/Richmond Center begins tonight, Friday, February 3 and continues all day Saturday, February 4, 2012. We look forward to seeing you there!
Registration OPENS at 6:00 pm in front of exhibit Hall - Visit the Convention Page to for all the details!
Note: The VYSA Office is closed today and will remain closed until Tuesday, February 7th. We will be at the Convention, so come by and see us and all the sessions this weekend!

Adele Dolansky Selected to the US Youth Soccer Hall of Fame
US Youth Soccer announced selections to their Hall of Fame. VYSA’s own Adele Dolansky former VYSA President and WAGS President will be inducted to the Hall of Fame in February for her long time service as an administrator! Congratulations Adele!

Gary Allen Awarded the Dr. Thomas Fleck Award for Excellence in Youth Coaching
US Youth Soccer announced today that this years’ recipient of the Dr. Thomas Fleck, US Youth Soccer Excellence in Coaching Education Award is VYSA’s own Gary Allen. US Youth Soccer and CDC Team Up - Heads Up Concussions in Soccer
FRISCO, Texas (March 31, 2011) – US Youth Soccer and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are proud to be teaming up to help protect participants of all youth sports who may be at risk of concussion. The campaign, is an expansion of the “Heads Up: Concussion in Youth Sports,” and will help get concussion information into the hands of coaches, parents, and school and health care professionals who are on the front-line to help identify and respond appropriately to concussions among young athletes.
