Culpeper Soccer Association (CSA) travel program is seeking a Technical Director (TD) in Culpeper Virginia.
The TD will implement the vision and mission established by the CSA travel program council while overseeing the continued education of the players, coaches, and parents.
The responsibilities of the TD will include, but not limited to, the following:
· Player Development,
· Coach Development,
· Recruit players and coaches,
· Hiring and firing of coaches,
· Evaluation of players and coaches,
· Coordinate and oversee all tryouts; both team and individual
players,
· Announce both team rosters and coaches,
· Provides webmaster educational material for the travel page on the CSA website,
· Work with the Coaching Coordinator of the house league,
· Provide an end of season review,
· Provide short and long term plans annually.
The preferred candidate will need to have a C license or equivalent or better, have played at the college level or better. Prior experience training coaches and players would be very helpful. Candidate must be well organized, self-motivated, have good verbal and written skills, and a good teacher. This is a part-time position. Salary is up to $75.00 per player per season ($50.00 Salary + $25.00 in incentives).
