Message from VYSA President Regarding New Travel Registration System

It is unfortunate that a portion of our membership will not fully enjoy all the changes.  Maryland would not agree to all electronic registration. It affects our teams with MD players.

Great Job to Lisa Wilson for her all the work through the testing and suggesting extra little changes to make the job easier for all.  In addition to the travel team portion, the Kidsafe section has been updated with all new instructions and new features. The Kidsafe manual has been updated for the website as well.

In the 7 days, all were under added pressure by adding the Kidsafe update and changing the registration for VA players participating on MD teams to assist those members as well. All working on it came through for VYSA with a smile.

In the spring I spoke with Lisa Olson of GroupNet Solutions concerning issues with our background check provider. Lisa Olson did not stop until she reached the CEO of First Advantage to fix our direct issues and more which we have had for a year with provider.  First Advantage bought the provider in the Spring.  The result is the Kidsafe section is more user friendly and reduces some of the workload in the office.

Ernie Rehrig of GroupNet Solutions never said no or we can’t to any additional wants or changes we requested.  Once we saw the result of change we requested he would then change it again. He has the patience of a saint!

Everything was completed with the extra cost for the amount to upload the birthdate documentation approved at the May meeting.

Thank you to GroupNet Solutions for your work and assistance which was above and beyond an average company.  GroupNet is a leader in customer service.

Awesome job and many thanks to all! You and your efforts are appreciated!
