VYSA presents awards each year at its annual Workshop to honor special individuals for their service and accomplishments in soccer.  Inductees to the Virginia DC Soccer Hall of Fame are also announced at the Workshop.  VYSA requests nominations for each of the many awards. 

The awards  presented each year are:

Coaching Awards
Girls Recreational Coach of the Year
Boys Recreational Coach of the Year
Girls Competitive Coach of the Year
Boys Competitive Coach of the Year

Other Awards
Administrator of the Year
Volunteer of the Year
Dave Williams TOPSoccer Exemplary Service Award

Referee Awards
Young Female Referee of the Year
Young Male Referee of the Year
nominations for these two Referee awards are made by the State Referee Program

and the highest award given to a VYSA member:
Adele Dolansky Exemplary Service Award
