The Semi-Annual Meeting of the Virginia Youth Soccer Association was called to order by President Denise Edwards at 2:30 pm during the VYSA Workshop at the Hyatt Regency, Crystal City.
Members present were: AC Alliance, Ashburn Soccer Club, Atlantic Soccer Club, Burke Athletic Club, DC Stoddert Soccer League, Fairfax Police Youth Club, FC Richmond, Fluvanna Youth Soccer Association, Glenvar Booster Club, Harrisonburg Soccer Association, Loudoun County Youth Soccer Association, Louisa Area Soccer Association, Manassas Area Soccer Association, Midlothian Youth Soccer League, Mount Pleasant Recreation Club, New River United Soccer, Soccer Club of Northern Neck, Roanoke Valley Youth Soccer Club, SOCA, Southwest Soccer Association, Stafford Recreational Soccer League, Virginia Beach Soccer Club, Blue Ridge Classic League, National Capital Soccer League, Old Dominion Soccer League, Richmond Metropolitan Youth Soccer League, Southeastern Virginia Youth Soccer Association, Valley Classic Soccer League, and Virginia Club Champions League. A quorum was present.
A motion was made and seconded to approve the minutes of the Annual General Meeting on June 15, 2002. The motion passed.
Motions were made and seconded to ratify Board actions taken since the Annual General Meeting: the appointment of Bob Maynes as North Recreational Commissioner; the appointment of Doug Strobel as Central Recreational Commissioner; and the appointment of Tom Halstead as Boys Southeast Travel Commissioner. All three motions passed.
A motion was made, seconded, and approved to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 2:40 pm.
