The Annual General Meeting of the Virginia Youth Soccer Association will be held on Saturday, June 23rd at 10:00 am at the Sheraton Richmond West. All VYSA member Clubs and Leagues are urged to have a representative attend to cast votes for that member club or league.
All VYSA member clubs and leagues are reminded that Spring fees and data are past due to the State Office. Those clubs and leagues whose fees and data have not yet been submitted should submit both as soon as possible. Clubs and leagues who fail to submit Spring registration fees and data are at risk of being placed in bad standing.
VYSA will host the Kohl’s American Cup/Soccer Quest Tournament on June 23 and 24, 2007 at Ben Lomond Park in Manassas. The Kohl’s American Cup is a US Youth Soccer recreational small-sided tournament for U6 - U16 recreational teams only. Soccer Quest is a small-sided travel tournament for U9 - U16 travel teams.
VYSA Welcomes New Full Time Coaching Education Director
VYSA welcomes Paul Shaw as its new full time Coaching Education Director. Paul joins us from Lynchburg where he has been the Women’s Head Coach at Sweet Briar College for the past 7 years.
VYSA has been approved to host the National Youth License Course and the National C; License Course this summer. Please inform your coaches about this opportunity for them to attend these courses in their own state.
