What is the VYSA Workshop?
Each year VYSA invites many presenters from across the country and from other countries to share their knowledge and experience in soccer to help us better serve our member Clubs and Leagues, their players, coaches, administrators, and the referee community. It is an opportunity for Coaches, Administrators, Club and League Officials, Referees, Team Managers, Registrars, Parents, and Volunteers to learn from the best on a variety of topics related to youth soccer.
 This year’s workshop promises to be one of the best for giveaways and prizes. Prizes varying from soccer clothing and equipment to special grand prize giveaways are a part of this year’s Workshop. Prizes include items from our many exhibitors plus gifts for eveyone who attends. Come to the VYSA Workshop February 1st and 2nd and take a chance on being one of our lucky winners.

VYSA va a presentar dos sesiones en español
El entrenador para la liga nacional del Fútbol, Rene Miramontes sereunirá con VYSA para presentar dos sesiones en español e inglés. Rene es bilingüe y el presentará una sesión y demostración el sábado, 2 de febrero en el taller VYSA en español.
VYSA Workshop to Hold Two Sessions in Spanish
US Soccer National Staff Coach, Rene Miramontes, will join VYSA to conduct two sessions in Spanish. Rene, fluent in both English and Spanish, will conduct one lecture and one coaching demonstration on Saturday, February 2nd at the VYSA Workshop in Spanish.
 Each year VYSA honors those who have shown exemplary service in soccer. This year’s award winners will be recognized at the Awards Luncheon held Saturday afternoon at the VYSA Workshop. Plan to attend and show your support to this year’s award winners.
 VYSA has prepared many special coaching sessions for this year’s workshop with some of the best clinicians. The Youth Development Director of Liverpool FC is among those who will instruct our coaches. Coaches should plan to attend sessions that pertain to the age group of the players they train.
 
The State Referee Program has invited four special guests to talk to referees on important topics related to officiating soccer matches.
Club Officials, Administrators, and All Other Volunteers
 There are a great many informative sessions for all those working and volunteering in soccer. Every Club and League is encouraged to bring at least three of their members to the Workshop to take back important information to their organizations. These sessions hold valuable information for Board members, Administrators, Technical Directors, Team Managers, and volunteers.
