Those working at the club and league levels, whether as administrative staff or as volunteers serving on Boards of Directors or in the many other positions in these organizations, will benefit from the many sessions set up especially for them. 

Because we feel these sessions will be of such great benefit to our member clubs and leagues, we sent letters in early January to each President inviting them to attend the Workshop as well as the Awards Luncheon at no cost. If the President of the club or league cannot attend, they are welcome to send another to represent their organization.  If substitues are being sent in place of the President, the President should contact Janet Cate at the VYSA State Office.

E22a     Positive Coaching Alliance
                    This session will talk about a program used by several of our leagues that assists coaches in working with players in a more positive way. 

E23B     What Do Excellent Clubs Do?
                    This session will give examples of how officials of clubs work together as a team to accomplish excellence in a club.

E25a     Volunteers in a Large Club
                    This session will be presented by officials of a large club.  They will tell how they recruit and maintain their volunteer base, an important component to a successful club.

Exhibit Hall C     How to Run a U5 Program
                                      This session is a demonstration on the right and wrong ways to run a program for our youngest players.

E22a     US Soccer Foundation Grants and Resources
                    Representatives from the US Soccer Foundation will talk about their grants program and how clubs can apply for grants for all climate fields.

E23b     Risk Management: It’s More Than Just Background Checks
                    This session will give valuable information on risks clubs and club officials face.

E25b     Effective Budgeting for Your Organization
                    This session will give information on a valuable tool for all organizations, their annual budget.

E22b     VYSA Semi Annual General Meeting
                    All VYSA Member Club and League presidents (or those voting by proxy) are asked to attend to vote on a bylaw amendment proposal that was mailed to member clubs and leagues in January.

E23a     Recreation Club Registration and Administration
                    This very important session will give club officials much important information regarding registration.

E23a     Recreation Clubs: What Does VYSA Need to do for Rec Clubs?
                     VYSA Recreation Commissioners will share information with club officials on what is available to them from VYSA and ask what more VYSA can do for their organizations.
