The Virginia Youth Soccer Association launches the Virginia Coaches Academy (VCA). The goal of the VCA is to offer continuing education to coaches who are in between their formal coaching licenses. The Academy is aimed at those coaches who are interested in acquiring new information, supplementing what they already have and staying connected to the developments of the modern game.
The VYSA will offer 2 levels of clinics, one for coaches who have the E Certificate and the other for coaches who have the D License (State or National). Clinics will be 4 hours in length, and feature field and classroom sessions.
Only $30 for VYSA and Non-VYSA Coaches.

The Virginia Youth Soccer Association is hosting the US Youth Soccer National Youth License Course on July 16, 17, 18, and July 24, 25, 2010, in Stafford, VA. The cost is $700.
The US Youth Soccer National Youth License Course is a five-day course that focuses on the nature of children. The curriculum covers ages 4-12, concentrating on one age group each day, and consists of both classroom and field sessions.

The Virginia Youth Soccer Association is hosting the USSF "C" License Course on August 12 - 15 and August 19 - 22, 2010, in Stafford, VA. The cost is $710.
The USSF "C" License is an eight-day course that provides a foundation in tactics, technique, and methods of coaching, along with issues in youth player development, which have been introduced in the "D" License course. Coaches wishing to attend the USSF "C" Course must have held a National "D" for at least 12 months.
