These new courses specifically target the age-appropriate needs of players at the 4v4, 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11 levels. Beginning early 2018, there will be a total of 8 new courses (4 online and 4 in-person/on-field) that will address the new game formats (4v4, 7v7, 9v9, 11v11).
VYSA is hosting a NYCC June 15-17, 22-24, 2018, in Fredericksburg, VA.
The National Youth Coaching Course is designed to provide club directors of coaching, youth coaches, physical education teachers, and soccer administrators with the knowledge to successfully structure soccer environments for children aged 4-12.
Virginia Youth Soccer will soon be offering 4v4, 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11 in-person licenses to target the age-appropriate needs of players at these levels. Beginning in February, 2018, there will be a total of 8 new courses (4 on-line and 4 in-person/on-field) that will address the new game formats. These align with the US Soccer Player Development Initiatives (PDI) announced last year.
Each in-person license course lasts for five (5) hours and the cost/license is $45 (plus the $25 DCC fee).
